1947 Directions The shed is on the west side of the line at the north end of Crewe Station. The yard is visible from the Warrington and Chester lines.

A footbridge connects the north ends of the station platforms, and an extension of this bridge leads to the shed.

The road entrance to the shed is at the end of Station Street.
